It’s the Sunday Intake Series!
Silas’ (26039, 7.5 YO M, FTA) owner surrendered him to GRIN. At the vet, Silas received a dental and is being treated for a bilateral ear infection.
Celebrating her birthday next week, Cindy (26041, 1 YO F) may have already found her furever through our foster-to-adopt (FTA) program. This little lady is a wild one with high energy and a high prey drive. The vet’s only concern for Cindy is that she is in the early stages of a UTI, which has been addressed!
Carly (26075, 5 YO F) is coming from a breeder who retired. She had two litters in the past and was spayed at the vet. Carly is being treated for a UTI and had a Quant6 test sent out as she tested positive for Lyme.
Due to heightened allergies within the family, Ellie (26076, 7 YO F, FTA) was relinquished. She is overweight, but her thyroid and bloodwork look good. She received a dental, treatment for a UTI, and X-rays were taken to evaluate her mobility. Ellie has arthritis in her knees and hips, and it appears that she has a partial CCL tear or an old tear that is scarring over. Surgery does not have to be considered at this time, as some weight loss will go a long way.
The next three pups came from local shelters.
Levi (26104, 5 YO M) is looking for a home that will provide him with the needed attention and care to address his high-energy needs and work on manners. He is being treated for bilateral ear infections as well as hookworms. Levi also received vaccines.
Moe (26105, 8 YO M) is a happy, social, great dog who can lose some weight. Moe had the works at the vet; ear infection, mats trimmed out of his fur, dental, broken tooth extraction, mass removal from his face, Quant6 test due to being Lyme positive, and vaccinations.
Like Moe, Wyatt (26106, 5 YO M) a Berner that needed our help this week, has a similar personality and needs to shed some pounds. He received a dental and vaccines and treatment for Coccidia.
